StillPoint Fitness
Rules
Be respectful to fellow members.
Some people at the gym are happy to discuss politics, develop intimate relationships, or hear inappropriate jokes. Other people might not appreciate this. Try to be socially aware and if there’s ever any doubt, just stick to fitness. We’re all here for that!
Respect the staff.
Your coaches want to help you and have your best intentions at heart. If a coach asks you to do something reasonable, please comply. Also, please try to come to class on time. Please avoid speaking when the coach is addressing the class. Please listen to your coach when they ask you to stop doing something that they feel is dangerous.
Respect the facility.
Wipe down your equipment after use; put equipment away properly, and take measures to avoid breaking the equipment. To clarify, no dumbbell or kettlebell should ever be dropped above a 1’ height. Furthermore, only barbells loaded with 25lb plates or larger are allowed to be dropped from overhead. Smaller plates are too flimsy and will break.
Honor your reservations.
Try your best to make the classes you reserve. If you can’t make it to class, try to cancel the reservation. *You may reserve a class up to 72 hours in advance. You may cancel with as little as 3 hours notice. Please try to avoid reserving multiple classes on the same day.
All walks of life are welcome at CrossFit Nassau.
So long as people are interested in fitness and respectful of our rules, then we’re happy to accept them.
Observe cleanliness and good hygiene.
We want to provide a space that is clean, safe, and enjoyable. Washing hands, bathing regularly, wearing clean clothing, and staying at home when you feel sick is critical to these goals.
No solicitations.
The gym is a place to workout and meet with friends. If you would like to promote an outside business to our gym members, please speak with management first. If management declines your request, please respect this.
Healthy gym relationships are great; however,
Remember that honesty, respect, and consent are cornerstones of all great relationships.
Do not video or photograph
Ask people if you may photograph or video them and let them know if you plan on posting your content.
We love dogs, but
Some people are uncomfortable around dogs. Other people are allergic to dogs. As a professional business, we ask that you not bring dogs onto gym property.
You may bring a friend or child to the gym; however,
Guests must stay in the gym lobby. Only reserved students may be on the gym floor when classes are in session.
Control of the music, heat, air-conditioning,
garage door, side-door and lighting is reserved for the staff. If you’d like one of these elements modified, please speak with us and we’d be happy to hear you out.
